Ball Clay

Ball clays are kaolinitic sedimentary clay powder that ordinarily comprises of 20-80% kaolinite, 10-25% mica, 6-65% quartz. Ballclay in India is effectively malleable and is white or close to white when terminated at a high temperature: ball clay is really better quality fired clay. The chemical composition and physical properties of this clay are best suited for vitreous china sanitary ware, granite tiles included, floor tiles, wall tiles, stone masonry and descriptive bodywork.

Dolomite

Dolostone is the main source of the mineral dolomite. It is an anhydrous carbonate mineral composed of calcium magnesium carbonate. It is used as an ornament stone, construction aggregate and main source of magnesium oxide.

Applications:Steel industry, Refractory, Glass, Ceramics.

Feldspar (Potassium and Sodium)

Feldspar is most common rock-forming mineral. It generally white or very light in color. The feldspar refers to the group of Aluminium silicates of potassium, sodium, and calcium. Among the numerous rocks in which they are present, the feldspars are particularly abundant in igneous rocks.

Applications: Ceramics, Sanitaryware, Catalyst, Decorative stone

Coal

Coal is a primary source of energy, mainly burned for the generation of electricity or heat. , and is also used for industrial purposes, such as refining metals. We supply imported (Indoseian) Coal to the domestic market.

Applications:Electricity, Heat, Metal refining.

Garnet

Garnet is pure and natural sand. Of the six major varieties of Garnet (Almandine, Andradite, Grossularite, Pyrope, Spessartite, Uvarovite), Almandine is the best abrasive Garnet with the composition of 3FeO, AI203, ESIO2. As Garnet has low content of free silica in it, it is widely used in sand blasting and waterjet cutting

Applications:Abrasives, Sand Blasting, Water jet cutting.

Laterite

Laterite is a polymetallic ore and it is rich in iron oxide. It is formed from a variety of rocks that undergo stray oxidizing and leaching conditions. Laterite is typical clay like material and porous. The colors of Laterite vary from red, reddish-black, brown, yellow and blackish-brown. Laterite also in short can be called as a rock product that is formed in response to set of physiochemical conditions. It has a number of uses in industries nowadays.

Applications:Soil Fertility, Waste water treatment.

Talc

Magnesium silicate has a trade name of Talc. It possesses lubricating properties, high luster and sheen. The colour of the material varies from the pure white to silvery white. It is one of the softest mineral and has a soapy feel.

Applications: Cosmetics, ceramics, paints, Plastic, Detergent.

Manganese Ore

Manganese ore is the main source for the extraction of Manganese. Manganese has multiple uses in various industries. It is used iron and steel industry and for the manufacturing of batteries as well. Pyrolusite is the type of manganese ore most sought after as it has high content of Manganese and the extracti on is economically viable

Applications:Metal Alloys, Iron and Steel, Trace elements.

Mica

It is a naturally occurring mineral that is based on collection of silicate minerals and composed of varying amounts of potassium, iron, aluminium, magnesium and water is Mica. High is Silica it has the extensive capacity to remain elastic even in high temperatures.

Applications: Plastics, Cosmetics, Welding Electrodes, Foundries, Rubber.

Quartz

Quartz is very common in sedimentary rocks such as sandstone. It is composed of Silicon and oxygen atoms. It is closest to pure chemical compound and has constant physical properties. Quartz strength and non – reactive properties make it indispensable ingredient in the production of thousand of everyday products.

Applications:Drilling, Ceramics, Paints, Glass.

Copper Slag

Copper slag is a by-product of copper extraction by smelting. During smelting, impurities become slag which floats on the molten metal. Slag that is quenched in water produces angular granules which are disposed of as waste or utilized.

Applications:Abrasive, Blasting.

Metallurgical Coke

Coke is made by destructive distillation of a blend of selected Bituminous coals (called Coking coal or Metallurgical coal) in special high temperature ovens in the absence of oxygen until a greater part of the volatile matter is driven off. The resulting product, COKE, consists principally of Carbon.

Applications:Fuel

Barite

Baryte is generally white or colorless, and is the main source of barium. Barite is found in the southern parts of India. It is extracted by both surface and underground mining. It is non-toxic and physically and chemically non-reactive. It is available in hydrous form as well as lumps.

Applications: Paints, Rubber, Drilling, Cosmetics, Paper.

Lead Ore

Lead is a heavy metal that is heavier than most common materials. It is soft and has a relatively low melting point. When freshly cut, it turns bluish-white then when exposed to air it tarnishes to a dull grey colour. An ore is a type of rock that contains sufficient minerals with important elements including Lead that can be economically extracted from the rock.

Types of Lead Ores

Galena:The Galena is also called Lead Glance. It is an important source of silver and the most important ore of lead.

Anglesite:This is a lead sulphate mineral with the chemical formula PbSO4. Anglesite contains 74% of lead by mass and therefore has a high specific gravity of 6.3. Its colour is white or grey with pale yellow streaks. It maybe dark grey if impure.

China Clay

China clay belongs to the group of Minerals called Kaolinite. It is one of the most common minerals. Kaolinite clay occurs in abundance in soils that have formed from the chemical weathering of rocks in hot, moist climates-for example in tropical rainforest areas. Comparing soils along a
gradient towards progressively cooler or drier climates, the proportion of kaolinite decreases, while the proportion of other clay minerals such as illite (in cooler climates) or smectite (in drier climates) increases.
